Defcon '06

So over the weekend I attended Defcon, and I have to say the overall feel of the con has changed from what it was three years ago. A lot more feds than I've seen in the past. Basically Defcon's gone from A bunch of kids drinking, and talking all geeky to people wearing polo shirts and doing the same.

I had two crazy things revealed to me at Defcon. First Richard Bejtlich has given my nick (transzorp) significant visibility in the community. For example I was running into people at Defcon I'd never met and people were saying hey who are you when I told them my name and my nick people were like oh you're that guy cool. Second someone has implemented my LFSR shellcode encoding and achieved higher than expected compression ratios.
